Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL) will host a pavilion at COP29, taking place at the Azerbaijan Stadium, Azerbaijan, Baku, from 11th November - 22nd November 2024. The SEforALL pavilion will be the main hub at COP29 for discussing and showcasing how to unite global efforts on energy, climate and development.
The shift to 24/7 carbon-free energy & technologies is a crucial step in advancing the global clean energy transition, particularly in the Global South. By offering safer, cleaner, and more diverse energy consumption, 24/7 carbon-free energy paves the way for a healthier, more sustainable future.
However, regional disparities and a lack of standardization are creating obstacles to widespread adoption. To overcome these challenges, global leaders gathering at COP29 in Baku must commit to accelerating the energy transition while developing a regulatory framework that ensures fair and effective implementation.
Collaboration across borders and improved communication will be key to driving meaningful and lasting change in the push for 24/7 carbon-free energy.
